Abbas Yousif

Abbas Yousif is a distinguished Bahraini artist and writer whose multifaceted work draws inspiration from literature, poetry, and Sufi texts. He was born in 1960 in Manama, Bahrain. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Arabic literature in 1982, Yousif embarked on an artistic journey marked by a fusion of intellect, vision, and skill. 


His oeuvre explores diverse mediums, including painting, calligraphy, printmaking, and collage, masterfully blending the enigmatic and the abstract through rhythmic compositions.
