Christian Sleiman

Christian Sleiman is a Lebanese artist based between Beirut and Paris. He received a Master’s from the University of Holy Spirit Kaslik and a BFA from the Lebanese University. He examines the vegetative souls through minor rituals, fabulations and recipes. Currently, Christian is investigating the political and economic forces shaping Lebanon’s food system. He presents his research through invitations among foraging, cooking and serving food.


Sleiman has been featured in numerous exhibitions including ‘You can’t discourse without disco’, Galerija nova - WHW Akademija, Croatia; ‘How will it end? (2022), Fondation Boghossian - Villa Empain, Brussels (2022); ‘Togetherness’, Galerie Tanit, Lebanon (2021); ‘Civic City - Place en relation’, Centre Pompidou, France (2018) among others. He received a BA in Fine Arts from The Lebanese University and Master’s Degree in Architecture from University of Holy Spirit.
